September 8, 2010 First Day of School Today was the day of the apple. We read this book, painted with apples as stamps, had apples and apple juice for snacks, and even made our own apple pies. Everyone brought something that started with the letter A and we all got to show "our items." Kendall and Joshua each brought an alligator, Lachlan brought an acorn, Brendan brought his mom, Alexa, Emma brought a photo of her sister, Andi, Sara brought ? We were lucky to have Holly and Alexa stay with us. We had a great first day of school!
