these are some of the fun things we did :*Read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and acted it out (at least 4 times). The kids would pretend to be the caterpiller and go through the various stages while I read the story, finally emerging as a beautiful butterfly.
*Hung "C"s up on the clothesline. There was a basket of A's, B's and C's and they had to pick out the C's and hang them up.
*Read The Cat in the Hat
*Decorated C cookies
*Ate yummy snacks of cucumbers, carrots and crackers
*Read "It Looked Like Spilt Milk" and talked about clouds. Then we made clouds out of cotton balls on large blue paper C cutouts.
*Counted everything we could find: books, crackers, people, shoes
A creative and colorful week, for sure!!
